We are excited to announce that NRG Solutions has launched its first project within the ESA RPA program, supported under the national call in Latvia. This marks an important milestone for our company as we begin research activities aimed at advancing the use of satellite data for real estate risk assessment.
The project will specifically focus on the structural state analysis of wooden buildings, a key area of interest in Latvia and across Europe where historic and modern wooden structures play a vital role in the built environment. By applying Earth Observation technologies, we aim to develop innovative methods to monitor and evaluate building conditions remotely, helping property stakeholders make smarter decisions about maintenance, safety, and long-term resilience.
The research is planned to run over 14 months, during which our team will collaborate with experts and partners to test, validate, and refine new approaches. The knowledge gained will lay the foundation for future applications of space-powered intelligence in real estate monitoring—not only in Latvia but also in international markets.
